Responsibilities:
Provide classroom instruction and fulfill other responsibilities of a teacher who is absent, generally on a short term basis.
Work Week and Hours:
Dependent upon the need. Generally weekdays between the hours of 7:45 AM and 3:15 PM.

Administrator Application

Santiam Christian is seeking to hire bus drivers.
* Route Drivers * Substitute Drivers * Activity Drivers
Tuition Discount available for route drivers.
Duties:
* Route Driver - Daily am/pm assigned route in our service area
* Sub Driver - On-call for am/pm bus routes
* Activity Driver - Regular or on-call for activities and sports
Drivers must have or be able to obtain a CDL License. We will provide guidance throughout the CDL process. The cost is paid by the driver.
We provide hands-on driver training.
Reports To: Transportation Coordinator

Classroom Management
● Develops, modify and monitor aftercare activities to meet the academic, physical,
and socio-emotional needs of all students
● Complete aftercare activities and projects that are engaging and age-appropriate
for elementary students
● Ensuring all school rules, policies and guidelines are adhered in the classroom.
● Monitors outdoor time with a focus on safety, cooperative play, and fun
● Provide assistance for homework during scheduled time
● Maintain organized and clean classroom
● Supervise teenage support staff who assist with childcare in the program
● Prepare, monitor and assist children during snack time
Care of the Environment
● Ability to complete first aide and CPR
● Replenishes consumable items as needed e.g. snacks, beverages and bathroom
paper products
● Assists elementary students and teenage help in clean-up of the environment at
the end of the day.
Communication
● Implement charges into the computer for the business office
● Communications with teachers and staff as needed for behavior or medical
concerns.
● Communications with parents at pick-up.
Miscellaneous
● Maintains all professional certiﬁcations necessary, including yearly Food handler/
CPR/First Aid certification
Santiam Christian Elementary is looking for a substitute for the After School Program. Hours are 2:45-6pm on school days as needed. Requires a clear background check, First Aid & CPR Certifications and experience working with children.
